From May to July 2020, a project was initiated for acoustic cavitation plug removal at Linpan Oil Production Plant. In response to the problem of insufficient water injection in the low-permeability reservoir of this block, which is a low-permeability and low porosity reservoir, conventional acidification has a short effective period and frequent acidification causes significant damage to the reservoir. In the project proposal, acoustic cavitation technology was used to remove blockages in four severely underfilled water injection wells, including S8-313 well. After the removal of blockages was completed, three water wells reached the injection allocation, and one water well reached 50% of the injection allocation, with an effective rate of 100%, which was recognized by Party A. On this basis, 11 well unblocking operations were carried out the following year, with 7 wells meeting the injection requirements and 2 wells achieving an injection volume of over 50%, with an effective rate of 82%.
