    The anti wax and anti viscosity test of Daqing Oilfield Oil Production Plant 3 has been successful

    The total number of new wells for expanding production capacity in the fourth operation area of the third oil production plant is 177 (including 85 in the first phase of expansion and 92 in the second phase). After the production of the North Expansion Block, due to the low water content of the oil wells and poor physical properties of the crude oil, the wax content of the produced liquid is high, and the wax deposition cycle is short, frequent shutdown of the pumping unit well load, inability to start pumping after shutdown, and rod lag occur. Therefore, frequent well washing is required, with a washing cycle of 7-14 days, and frequent operation and treatment are needed, which seriously affects the normal production of the oil wells in the North Expansion Block. From October 2023 to January 2024, three pumping wells with short well cleaning cycles and severe wax deposition were selected for operation testing of a four in one wax prevention and viscosity reduction and production increase device. After the test, the cleaning cycle of the first well was extended from 19 days to 109 days, the second well was extended from 15 days to an average of 38 days, and the third well was extended from 4.6 days to the current 83 days, achieving significant wax prevention and viscosity reduction effects.
